Screening process
Volunteers on an “Immersion” to a shanty town
Prospective volunteers will be given the opportunity to meet with the volunteer coordinator for an informal chat, to discuss current project availability. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions and to raise any concerns you may have. Volunteers will then be invited for a formal interview once the application form has been completed.
Prospective volunteers must:
- Return a completed application form.
- Provide two references (character and professional).
- Provide a certificate of good health.
- Complete CRB checks.
- Give assurance to participate in preparation courses and community experience.
- Take responsibility for raising sponsorship of £700 as a contribution towards return flights, Life Insurance, courses, living allowance, food and accommodation.
