Coming Home

We recognise that coming home is not as easy as it sounds. Volunteers often have more difficulty adjusting to coming home that they had moving to another culture. So on return, we provide volunteers with:

• personal debriefing to help process the experience and re-integrate back home
• the option to continue contact with the Assumption if desired
• a small resettlement grant on completion of the commitment overseas

We will also ask you for a written evaluation of your volunteer experience.
